IE6 Question

Recommended Posts

Its maybe because your settings, like Security and Privacy settings do not permit the site's content.

If you don't want to recieve alerts you can right click the IE icon on the desktop then Properties or in the browser window go to Tools>Internet Options, either way brings up the Internet Options control box. Click the Advanced Tab, and do the following:

-Check the option: Disable Script Debugging

-Uncheck the option: Display a notification for every script error

Press Apply, then Ok.

That's about it. Make sure also that your cookie handling isn't set too high.

Oh I see...you're calling a specific file on a sub-directory. Its a 404 Error, meaning the file does not exist. It has nothing to do with your browser. The file must have been deleted, moved, or the link is wrong.

Nope, you have to edit something in the registry to do that, and that may cause something else to mess up. Also, I think the link there had a custom error page to trigger the pop-up. So it may not be true to every same error you encounter.
