The Library Multiplayer Conversion For Halo Combat Evolved The Library Level Converted Into A Multiplayer Level

This is basically the Level : "The Library" in Singleplayer mod converted to a multiplayer level.

Anyway this map is really cool, all of the gametypes are planned out properly:

The LibraryMP is a multiplayer conversion of the main index chamber from the single
player Halo level The Library. The map is set up and ready to go for all multiplayer
game modes, including ctf, race and King of the Hill.

This map is also fully compliant with the Halo .map standards. It can be edited with
HMTv3 as well as SparkEdit, and is also compatible with HMTv3 map rebuilding and batch
extraction.

[ Installation Instructions ]

There are (5) files included with this mod. They are:

1. putput.map - This is the actual map file, and must overwrite the existing map. I
took a poll of everyone's least favorite multiplayer level, and this map (Chiron) was
chosen as the least liked, so I decided to have The Library replace it.

2. LibraryMP.Bitmaps.Required.ppf - This contains the texture for the nuke launcher,
and is *REQUIRED*.

3. The LibraryMP.Sounds.Required.ppf - Nuke Launcher sounds. Also *Required*
[-- Apply to SOUNDS.MAP --]

*** Note - your map will not load without applying the bitmaps patch, and without the
sounds patch applied, Halo will crash the second a nuke is launched. These patches do
not replace any existing textures or sounds, but rather *add* new resources to the end
of the files. Applying the ppf patches will in no way affect existing textures and
sounds.

4. TheLibraryMP.UI.Optional.ppf - This patch is optional, and will modify your UI to
display the correct image and name/description in the map select menu.

In ctf mode, there are red and blue bases set up on opposite sides of the symmetrical
chamber. There is only one ground level entrance to each base, and near each entrance
is a teleporter to the second level of the chamber. Each floor has a teleporter that
leads the the next floor up, with the 4th floor leading back down to the ground level.
There is also a teleporter on the 4th floor that leads to another section of the map.
Follow the arrows for a Nuke Launcher at the end, and a teleporter leading back to the
third floor, where you will find yet another teleporter leading to the ground level.

There are thirty-six spawn points per base, the full standard set of weapons, one
stationary turret, two energy shields, one ghost, and two warthogs. These figures
assume that the selected gametype includes 4 of each vehicle type for each team.

All King of the Hill zones and Oddball Spwans are in the main index chamber.

In race mode, the natural order of the checkpoints leads you through the index chamber,
up to higher levels, into the secondary section of the map, and back out.

I have included many additional resources in this map, such as ready to go flood and
sentinal bipeds. That's right! You can play as the flood in multiplayer ^_^ I have
also included all of the models from blood gulch as well as the Library, and many
other things. Open it up in HMT and have a look for yourself.
