A First Attempt At A Face what do you think of it?

I know that it is nothing special, but I just wanted a couple opinions on my first real attempt at a face. It took me hours (about 6-8) to do it. I plan on editing further and also maybe adding to the character and putting a cool background on it.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions for me. I know that the anatomy may be slightly off, but I am no expert.

FYI I used a mouse (not tablet), made it via the GIMP.
