Fun & Off-topic Forum A suggestion :)

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I had a suggestion for the Lounge, and we might get more members. All GTA sites do it, so why don't we do it, even though we are not a GTA or games fansite, but we hold various subforums for games. :)My suggestion was, to add a "Fun & Off-Topic" forum, for forum games like, "Promote the user above you", or "Ban the user above you" or something of the sort. Why did I come up with this idea?: Well, this would give our fellow members the chance to post in the forums alot more. Instead of not posting at all, we can just post in the other forums for credits and post count increasable forums, and have the Fun & Off-Topic forum post count and credits disabled. :)So, how does it sound? Does it sound good..? The only thing to do, is to try it out, if not already been tried out, and see what the stats are at the end of 2 weeks. :D-Sky

I will tell you why that won't happen, it is bad for SEO and more importantly would hurt Xisto in getting index by the search engines and since we frown on spam here, those kind of topics would be considered spam and not contribute to the forums. Besides these forums are for contributions and support and so tutorials, web master resources and being able to solve others problems will and so being able to provide original tutorials or maybe improving on current tutorials or scripts would be more beneficial.
