bangms 0 Report post Posted June 16, 2008 I think it would a bad idea if Youtube let people download videos because it would drive traffic away from their site - like most people said. Also it would create copyright problems because hundreds of people would be uploading the same videos. What I think Youtube should do is make it possible that the original uploader could download their own videos - kind of like to make a backup of the video on their hard drive. I've uploaded a video on Youtube before and the original file on my computer got lost. It would be so helpful if I could download that video back to my hard drive again.
