alex1985 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2008 Anybody knows a good SMS Billing System that can be integrated into the web-site. Specifically, I mean that a user might pay for services of a particular web-site just by sending a SMS. Later on, it will come to my or let's say owner e-currency account such as PayPal, LibertyReserve, or e-Gold. If you know any, please let me know.
galexcd 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2008 Well you sure wouldn't be able to do this only with php. You would have to set up some kind of special business deal with your phone company, and then set up the charges and what not, and then most likely get your own dedicated server that could send out SMS's, and then finally have php bridge the gap between the user on the internet at the sms. I'm not quite sure how this would work. I have seen some websites that can send and receive SMS's, but I'm sure they are just not any average old host, you would have to set this up yourself, or find a rare host who can do this. alex1985 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2008 But, just give the links where I can do it, if you know some. There are certain sites that offer to do so, you register over there, they give you merchant account and you just integrate it into the one you have as a site. That's what I think. That's what I think.well, a site i play (been on it for almost 2 years), legacy-game.net has an sms billing system for subscription payment. And the game is coded in php. Its owner is zorg@legacy-game.netFrom what he had said,he had to set it up with a phone company and then do the coding through his server. Im guessing that the phone company must've made a static-ip which gets re-directed to the phone company's servers and the phone company does the rest.
