CrashCore 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2008 I used the free trial of it, but am still unsure if I want to purchase it. Are there better development utilities out there?I looked at a few such utilities, such as:http://www.crankeye.com/Any advice? Is Xp worth the $60? I enjoyed my time with it, but didn't really get the full experience. Thanks
jack_flamer 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2008 in all honesty to enjoy fully the xp version you need to get the full version. but if the trial didn't really appeal to you i would advise not buying it unless you love making role-play games as $60 is a large lump for some one who may or may not enjoy iti havent really shopped around for any over programs to use instead of a friend refered me to Xp and paid the $60 for my birthday present as in England, thats ?30 so not much of a cost but not every one is lucky enough to have friends that will spend that much on some-ones birthday over then if they're family but this guy was close enough i suppose. but anyway.Advise: Buy if you will use it, Use trial fully before buying, when using trial use as often as occasion permits, other then that im all out
Tepear 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2008 Ahh, I used to have a lot of fun with that program. I even set up a few morpgs with it. I highly advise this if anyone wants to have fun learning the core basics of game making, and maybe even learn ruby rgss along the way (Depending on how far you go).
