I Can't Understand Hsbc's Help Line

Recommended Posts

Now everytime when i called my bank service line, I just like went to a Pakistan shop, Why HSBC has to challenge my poor English :) I don't know how much money they can save by moving their central office to Pakista, because it is not my business. but i am sick of listening pakistan English when I really want to know where is my little money gone! is it really important to speak a good level english as a line service, and now I just hope there is no problem with my credit card, which may help me to stopping waste money on clothes.

They're saying HSBC has a bad accent.

Really, I can understand this. Sometimes it's not just because they're located in Pakistan. I've had normal american workers be impossible t ounderstand. It can get quite annoying. I can't even offer any advice, other then to switch to another service.

Companies will always outsource whenever they can reduce their costs elsewhere. They will save more by moving some of their operations to Asia because wages are much lower than those in the developed world. Some companies can save up up to half of their costs by moving operations like call centres abroad. This will mean even more companies will move abroad in order to remain competitive and not be forced out the market.
