The server respond very fast, FTP working very smoothly (free hosting provides worst FTP service, like "sorry 50 user already connected" but its provides nice service). giving you huge bandwith 60GB for free, custom .htaccess file (It have some limited commands access).after support is best in free. Live chat support provided by zymichost from last months. and forum support is also good.but my domain http://www.exmaple.com/ going to redirect to exmaple.com after DNS pointing. i place .htaccess file in root with fix, but its not working for me. after i start live chat with zymichost staff he told me, its a community based hosting and they don't support www (FQDN), they are a member of http://no-www.org/ and never allow me to use http://www.example.com/ directly, and if anyone open the http://www.exmaple.com/, it will redirect to exmaple.com.If you also like exmaple.com with any www subdomain, you should try zymichost.-Thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
iGuest 3 Report post Posted September 20, 2013 I’ve had a website with Zymic for over 3 years with no problems except for frequent downtimes. Then suddenly today, for no apparent reasons I can think off, Zymic pulled the plug on my site and suspended it.My site is themed on my family history and has kept the same formats since I first created and uploaded the site on the Zymic host.Zymic do not disclose reasons why they suspend sites, but that’s not really my issue. Where my site used to be, there is now an imposing abuse notice, with a list violations that may have brought Zymic to terminate my website. This really does not do anything for my good name and reputation on line. I tried to contact Zymic via their live chat service to have the notice taken down, and the only response I received from a member of admin was; JUST WAIT, after desperately waiting 40 minutes for a response.The Zymic staff is rude, curt, extremely unfriendly, extremely unhelpful and are truly a nasty piece of work.I would not recommend anyone to create a website with any of these free hosts. They will delete your site within an instant, without care, with no explanations, for the slightest of reasons without mercy. In fact they will mess you up. mrdee 1 Report post Posted October 5, 2013 Zymic are a load of rubbish. I have webspace there too, but only to use it as a testing dustbin. And even that cannot be done properly. If you try to do something which uses a bit of a serious MySQL database application, or upload a webform with inclusion of a MySQL database, you keep getting error messages all over the place. I have not had any banning or suspension issues, as I have not really published a lot, but yes, you are right, their staff are ignorant, rude and arrogant. I have noticed that when I posted on their forum about the umpteenth thing that went wrong. i would say: steer well clear of that place. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
