coolcat50 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2008 I just finished making a snowcone in Blender. Here it is: It didn't take long to make and i was just messing with Blender. How is it?
day_armstrong 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2008 Haha... I see that you are new to Blender. But it's quite ok for early "toucher". At least you know how to go to edit mode and modify the vertex location. Try several more times. Try to find out extrusion, smooth modifier, bezier curve, etc. I am sure you will fall in love with it. I remember to have created some tutorial on Wings and Blender 3D:http://forums.xisto.com/index.php?shol=day_armstrong(the Blender tut is on the last post). I hope its useful. truefusion 3 Report post Posted January 3, 2008 That's not bad, but to be more realistic, the cone is supposed to be as wide as the scoop of ice cream. It's actually a lot easier to model things in Blender than what one might think. I've modeled a sword before in Blender. Not really sure how to go about in coloring the thing, but i got used to the camera.
pugboy 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2008 I think you can select individual faces and color those.
