I Am A Nub At This so lets see where i can learn php

ok i am going to be starting my site soon,i want to use phpnuke 8.1 and i want to beable to edit the files if need be so where can i go to learn all about php scripting. is there any free online books and so on. my site will mainly be about my clan on starcraft, supreme commander and so to be starcraft II. any help on this subject would be great. i just got some books on Visual Basic 6 and C++ 6 and also a begginers guide to programing but i know that has almost nothing to do with website stuff. i also know alittle of html.thanks any1

there is no need for editing phpit is doable in the cmsi learnt php from php manual (mostly)and html lite (little)
