How Do I Autostart Programs On Startup In Windows

Recommended Posts

I know Windows automatically register new installations to autostart on startup.I have installed Mozilla Thunderbird, but apparently, I can't find the option to actually get it to autostart, I have to keep opening it every time I switch on my laptop. How can I configure Windows to accept Thunderbird as a autostart program?

Go to your System Configuration Utility, found in your System Information Folder under Tools. Click on the Startup tab and look for the Mozilla Thunderbird exe file in there and place a check in the box provided. Another way is if you have a Startup folder in your Start/Programs menu you can place the shortcut to the program in there. Good Luck! :P
