Unregistered 012 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2007 Hey, i just uploaded and installed Smf on my website. Everything is working fine with the forums themselves, but every now and then i get 1 or 2 messages. Here they are. "Database Error: Lost connection to MySQL server during query File: /home/justin/public_html/forums/Sources/Load.php Line: 1165" "Connection Problems Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later." But i have all of my database information correct. What does this mean and can anybody help me? Thanks ~Justin~
Saint_Michael 3 Report post Posted April 12, 2007 Well from coming across some searching htier are several ways to do this http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ But from other search it seems the server could have been a bit busy when you got this message, a good suggestion would be to check around the SMF forums for more concrete answers besides the common answers that give no detail. GOOGLE KEY WORDS Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later
Unregistered 012 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2007 Ya, I'm guessing that this will happen either way. Depends on the status of the Server. Thanks, and i will look into the matter at simple machines.
