I Recive Warning Mail From Trap17.com (= =") username forum not equal to cpanel name

Recommended Posts

I recive warning Email from Xisto.com today.

Hi Members,

NOTE : THIS IS A WARNING EMAIL FOR ALL MEMBERS WHO HAVE BEEN IN-ACTIVE

FOR MORE THAN 3 WEEKS!

IF YOU [uSERNAME AT FORUMS] is NOT equal to [ CPANEL username ] then

MAIL the ADMIN ( support@Xisto.com ) ASAP.  Mention the username of the

forum and the cpanel clearly. All accounts whose forum usernames do not

match Cpanel username, will be suspended. Atleast the first few

characters ( more than 5 ) must match with the forums.

Xisto has been very generous with respect to the "INACTIVITY" rule

till now. We have run our Inactive members script and found more than 100

members who have been inactive at the forums. We are a free hosting

company and in order to continue our services, we need members to be

active at the forums. Hence, to keep up our service free and to provide

better service to people who have already been hosted with us, we are

forced to DELETE all the accounts belonging to INACTIVE members.

If you DON'T want your account to be deleted and would like continue to

be active at the forums again, mail support@Xisto.com ( include your

username and domain name )

This is a final warning and no more Emails regarding Inactivity will be

dispatched.

Regards,

OpaQue

I'm online at this forum everyday.

Do I send e-mail to support@Xisto.com and tell that my username is not equal?

Its a real headache for me to Check the user Accounts and also for the script that I am developing. If the username at the forum is same as username for the cpanel, the script can automatically get the id, mail it to me or connect to server and take further actions. hence, It was decided that member names must be equal to or atleast similar ( the first few characters ) the id at cpanel; If it is not, please email or PM me. I will change the username at the forums. Username of cpanel cannot be changed and trying to do so might screw up the data. Once the script is run, all the accounts with usernames completely diffrent from the Forum will be deleted automatically. As for the Three copies of the same email, I really got no idea. I clicked only once of the bulk mail thingy... or may be I loaded the page or something. However, it was completely un-intensional.
