dre 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2007 Something interesting to note: Linux can run Windows programs by using an emulator called "Wine" (I've used it and it works great). It is also about as fast as using a Windows program on a Windows box! I've heard that you can use an emulator to be able to run a Linux program on a Windows box, but that it is painstakingly slow, and so I opted to not even try it.Benchmarks showed that games made for Linux ran slower than their Windows counterparts. Therefore, there is no way that Wine will run them faster. And also, Wine is not an emulator (Wine Is Not an Emulator). Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
