World Of Warcraft Online Gaming

Recommended Posts

I don't play the game. I have played it before but now I all I do is make fun of people who play it and get addtited to it. So common and fess up if you play the game so I can make fun of you.South Park even made an episode on it, quoted from the show "How do you kill that, that has on life?".

Are you kidding me? World of warcraft is one of the best game on earth, and who are you to make fun of people just because they played WoW? I played it from a couple of years, but then I stopped. It gets boring after that, but it is still one of the best games. I think you hate all the games, tell me wich one you like so I can know your taste (if you want) If South Park is envying WoW for making lots of money, then they can admit it, and not telling lies about WoW.P.S: I won't let you make fun of me for playing WoW.

Silly Hadi, getting angry over being called a WOW player. The South Park episode with WOW in it was pretty much hilarious (MOM, BATHROOM! "I think we're dealing with people who...have no life!"), and probably would have been better if it made a bit more sense to people who play WOW and pointed out factual errors (for one, EPIC SETS LOOK EPIC ). Making fun of the game when you've barely played it is pretty bad; but I can agree with making fun of people who get addicted to the games...problem is, it's so easy. I've been WOW-free for about three months now, and wow...I've read library books, wrote more of my novel, drew more drawings, and I like sunshine again. I miss it though. It's a good game in its own right, but ridiculously easy to get addicted to. Hadi, take a break from your computer, and Mada, don't be mean to Hadi. All better!

I didn't get angry at SP for making an episode about WoW. Considering Blizzard actually allowed them too. It's funny how people try to act cool on the internet, and try to stereotype people who play MMOs. I play WoW. I play Ragnarok Online, and I go out, I draw, I read novels on a regular basis. And MMOs are not the reason people have no lives. How can an inanimate object cause such things. It can't. It's a person's ability to become addicted that cause situations where people can starve to death.FYI, That south park episode wasn't accurate at all. There are so many things wrong with it, just to make it seem more funny to non-WoW players. And one more thing. It's come on, not common.

I am not a computer ''freak'' nor obsessed with WoW, but I just wanted to clear that anyone playing the game can be addicted to it, but I am not, but that is something else than considering this game a great one. It is one of the best, that's why many people get obsessed with out. It's true that I use the computer most of the time. But I do see sunshine, in fact my computer is in a glassy room, I am surrounded with natural beauty. But still I go out to see the sun from the outside not just from my house.

for those who havnt played the game, you can't understand how easy it is to get addicted :)Me + a friend were complete WoW junkies for about a year, never going out, never seeing any one, all we talked about was WoW, weekend involved 20 hours of solid play, grab a few hours sleep, 20 hours of play.Grades started slipping, i lost contact with friends, basically became a complete looser, as did he.Luckily i actualy stopped and looked at things one day and realised how bad they were, stopped playig the same day :rolleyes:My friend didnt, he still plays for 40 hours each weekend, gets home at 4 and plays till 12 then gets up at 6 to squeeze in a few hours before school. WoW has basically completely destroyed him :rolleyes:So yea, dont play wow heh, its a great game, but far to addicting.

i have heard so much about this game all over the place. It looks pretty cool but i don't really play computer games. I prefer playing something on a system than on the computer. But i hope to eventually try it so i can see why the game is so hyped up everywhere.

I dont play it as much due to work, part time study, socialising and other things. But still, I'll agree that WoW is pretty addictive, even when playing it late at night before heading to bed (and getting up for work the next morning).

I think the general consencus is that WOW is an amazing, epic and extremely fun game (to most people) - I think this is mostly due to the other people around the game - not just computer controlled characters. You could play for years It is ridiculously addictive. I used to play it so damn much. I have been sober from it for bout 3 months as well, I reckon I played it over the course of a year or two... the time just passed - didn't see it go!Trouble is, once you've played it it makes all other games you've played seem boring or just so linear, that makes you just want to go and sign up for another taster...! I think I was lucky. I managed to squeeze in so much playing in so much of a non-important time (surrounded by important stuff) like right before my gcse's - still got 8A* and 2A grades;I played it so much, it wasn't fun anymore, yet I still needed to play. The only reason I managed to get off it is It just got boring. - oh and the game is endless - so many places. It is epic in its own right. My friend who started playing, I told him, make sure you don't get addicted. he said "no chance" i'll only be playing it for 20 or so mins each night. Now hes totally into it, so I can say - told you so! It does seem to be screwing him over too.So yeah. Go for it, if you can control yourself!!!! Its harder than it looks :P

Yeah, it seems that the recent Burning crusade expansion has got the old gamers (that has abandoned their lv 60 druid, priest, etc).. back into the game and trying to get their characters up to lv 70. Still Id have to say its pretty addictive, but usually play it as a time filler (normally 2 hours late, then work the next day).. Sometimes even on Sundays.
