Jonbenet Ramsey's Killer Caught! JonBenet Ramseys Killer Caught in Thailand

Recommended Posts

I'm sure everyone has heard of the JonBenet Ramsey murder in 1996. I'm also sure everyone has heard that the authorities have arrested one, John Mark Karr in his Bangkok Thailand apartment in connection to said murder. Although he denies having any involvment.

I would like to get everyones opinion on it. Do you think the authorities have the right man this time? I mean, they've accused the mother, the father, and who knows how many other people. Are they sure he's the right one this time? If you think he's the one who killed her, why do you feel that way? Here's a couple of links to some news articles that I found interesting. What do you think?

I think they have the right man. I mean with all the reasearch they do in all these cases, im positive that they wouldnt make such a stupid mistake. If the murder happened so long ago then the evidence could be a fraud and not really what happened. So in that circumstance then it would be a bad thing is he is actually convicted of this crime. I just hope that he is the guilty one and I hope that he is given a fair trial.

In this day and age, does anyone ever REALLY get a fair trial? I personally don't think so. My girlfriends ex-husband is sitting in an Arkansas prison now, because of a faulty defense lawyer, and tainted evidence. He was convicted of 1st-degree murder. But, he shouldn't have been. he wasn't present when the murder took place, and the one person who could prove that he wasn't there, the prosecutors wouldn't let testify because they needed a scapegoat... Someone to pin the murder on. Just my proof that people don't get a fair trial anymore. There's also the guy I read about in the paper the other day. the one who was a pilot for a foreign country(sorry, can't remember his name or the country he was from). he spent 5 years in a, what they called a prison. I call it a concentration camp. he was accused of being a terrorist because of his ethnicity. Yet, he was proved NOT to be a terrorist less than a year after his arrest, he still spent 5 years paying for it.

May be and maybe not he is the killer.

But I critised the media from the first day because:

- they identified him "the killer"

- they claimed he has confessed.

In fact he didn't confess that he is the killer. All what he said that he was near JonBenet Ramsey and this not mean he is the killer or confession of murder.

But there is the possiblity that he was and this need more effort and invstigation.

If he will not be approved that he is the killer then this will strengrthn my thinking that he was near JonBenet Ramsey when she died to run away from the investigation and trorture in Tailand for another crime.

The media has find a topic to fill their time or space. They could say what he said and suggest that may be he was the murderer. Then they have to wait then cover the trial if he charged after months.

Do correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that the suspect confessed to the murder in front of a large group of reporters - which in itself is a very odd thing to do.I'd hate to be judgemental, but from the times I've seen this fellow on the TV or in the papers, he's always appeared very "off-balanced" - he just doesn't look like he's in touch with reality... and I'll be honest, he creeps me out.But that's not the point I wanted to get at. I have considerable doubt that Mr. Karr is the killer. Instead, I would have to agree with those who believe that he is just someone who is obsessed with the crime and also has some psychological issues. From what I remembered from watching/hearing the news:-His family claims that they were celebrating the holidays together when JonBenet was murdered-Mr. Karr stated that he drugged up JonBenet but no drugs were found in toxicology tests during the autopsy-Mr. Karr has been very sketchy with details surrounding JonBenet's death. Stating that it's a "long story that will take time to explain" and that it was "an accident"-To contradict the "accident", he claims to have first drugged her up before sexually assaulting her (I honestly can't see how sexual assault can be 'accidental')I feel horrible for what had happened but regrettably, I feel like this case will remain unsolved for a long while.... with all the media coverage and smugged up details from back in the 90s, I'm sure that this trial by media has reached the point where a lot of important facts have been blurred and mixed up.Will they catch the real muderer someday? I sure hope so.But have they caught the real one already? I have doubts.Let's hope they find a DNA and writing sample match.

My thoughts precisely, Dreus. Who's to say he isn't completely fixated on the fact that he's getting attention now, that he never got before...Even when he was a school teacher. He's known the world over now. I think it was just a ploy to get internationally recognized...For what? Being a child molesting, murderer? Who really knows?

Well guys,

I'm back again with more tlak about JonBenet and John Mark Karr. DNA has disproved he is her killer. Here's a clip of a news peice done about it...

BOULDER, Colo. (Aug. 29) - Prosecutors abruptly dropped their case Monday against John Mark Karr in the slaying of JonBenet Ramsey, saying DNA tests failed to put him at the crime scene despite his insistence he sexually assaulted and strangled the 6-year-old beauty queen.

So, my thoughts that he only confessed to her murder to get internationally recognized have been confirmed. Just thought I'd share that with you.

And if you are wondering why I show such an interest in this case, is because I'm from Arkansas. about an hour away from where JonBenet lived and died.

First of all you need to quote that. There were many doubts right off of the get go about him being the true killer of the girl. I for one wouldn't think it was him although it does sort of fit his profile, with him being into the kiddie porn stuff. With this though I do believe the case has been reborn and hopefully will be solved once and for all. It would be a shame to see this case never be solved.

Yeah i heard all the talk on the news, pyschologists saying he probably didnt murder Jonbenet. My mum reackoned he said that because he wanted to get in the news and get publicity.

Pretty much now, he didn't do it. They have evidence against him actually doing it. He's just one of those sick people who think about one thing until they think that they did it. He also just wanted to get out of going to Thai jail and go instead to american jail that is less harsh. I think that they should give him back to the Thai and let them have their way. He needs to go to jail for lying and that's where he actually belongs. That, and in an assylum where he's not treated too nice but he can get help and not put any false hope on any other cases. Not sure who actually committed the murder, but I know it wasn't him- and it wasn't the parents!

1. In my first reply I was critisied the media that he has confessed or identify him as killer [see what I have said]:

But I critised the media from the first day because:

- they identified him "the killer"

- they claimed he has confessed. In fact he didn't confess that he is the killer. All what he said that he was near JonBenet Ramsey and this not mean he is the killer or confession of murder.

But now I am criticizing who went to the extreme point but in another side. That he didn't do it. His dna shows that he wasn't who sexually acted on the late little girl. But that not mean that he wasn't who killl her. We need another evidence to approve that he wasn't there at all as he claimed as I said previously:

But there is the possiblity that he was and this need more effort and invstigation.

2. You agree with my opinion that :

If he will not be approved that he is the killer then this will strenthen my thinking that he was near JonBenet Ramsey when she died to run away from the investigation and trorture in Tailand for another crime
