Help With Running A Cgi Script

i am having a problem running a cgi script written in perl in my site , the path to perl and file permissions and anyother thing that may cause a problem i have checked and found none , the response i get is 500 , internal server error ,i am pretty new to perl but i am sure it's nothin wrong with the code , so if anybody can throw me a light on what may be wrong i will be most grateful ,thanks in anticipation

Hmm...CGI scripts are always particularly difficult for me to troubleshoot. The first thing that I usually do is check if the CGI script has execute permissions. If it does, then I check the error log (via cPanel), which usually records CGI errors in good detail.If you still can't figure the problem out, read the script's README or documentation again.

nope it is nothing to do with file permission too and i did check error logs ,infact i tried everything i can google out before posting this topic , i guess it is something to do with apche handler ,anyway i am no longer interested in doing it in cgi , i will use php instead but thanks for replying <_<
