For PC games. the duelist of ATI X Nvidia. What is better?

For hardcore games, i would recommend using nvidia cards sicne they tend to have more power in them and with sli they can perform very well under any circumstance. For movies and casual gamming i would recomment ati. They tend to be better for the lower class things and they also are the best for tv encoding and such.

Choose Nvidia even if you aren't a gamer. ATI makes horrible horrible drivers, though they have improved SLIGHTLY.

i prefer nvidia,coz i also use it,many of my friends are using nvidia graphic cards and they all are satisfied.No experience with ati.

I have used ATI and nvidia. From my experience, ATI is good for image editing and basically anything except 3-D gaming. nvidia is good for gaming, and all that other stuff, but the image quality isn't as good in image editing and movies/videos as ATI.
