DonB 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2006 Hey everyone,I've been trying to connect to my FTP for the past 10 minutes but it keeps giving me the following error;STATUS:> Connecting to ftp server ftp.ginger-ninja.net:21 (ip = 216.240.157.63)...STATUS:> Socket connected. Waiting for welcome message...ERROR:> Can't read from control socket. Socket error = #10054.STATUS:> Waiting 30 seconds...Any idea what's causing this? Mjay06 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2006 Socket errors are normally connection problems, or the FTP host address may be spelt incorrectly, or your firewall may be blocking it.
