Awestruck... Struck Out!

Recommended Posts

A friend had this crush on a girl working at Hardee (still does actually... ignore the past-tense) so we drove him over there to talk to her. He's shy and a geek and is the kind you'd never see get a girl even with a pocket full of hundreds and a banana in his pants (setting the image). So when we walk in, there's just one guy behind the counter. Shoot, we missed her. So not wanting to look like an idiot, he goes up and orders something anyways. Just then his dream girl comes out from the backroom and he gets stuck in the classic 'gaga-look' and completely forgets to order. He just kind of looks at her all trance-like and walks away half-way thru his order.... (eugh) so me and the other guy we came with have to come to the rescue to save him from his current humilation. Needless to say, we come off suave and eventually take her back to our apartment... meanwhile our geeky friend lost his only chance just because he got awestruck. Poor guy

You really shouldn't visit your 'crush' at work, unless you know they'll be there and on a break, that way you can plan something romantic in place. I always say this, and i still believe it to be the most effective way of doing things, tell the damn person you like them straight out, but not just any place, arrange to meet up with them, maybe at the movies or something.People tenseing up, and going all silent, is going o achieve a negitive effect in the short term and the long term, its shows excatly how much confidence you have in the relationship, first impressions always count, the first kiss is whats going to set the mood for the relationship! It's called planning, some people tend to use it and others don't, either, always have some plan in your head before you go into this kind of sitiuation, and always plan for worse case sencario, and set yourself on best case snecario!

If he had done too much planning, they he would ahve thought about the possibllity of his 'crush' not beining there?, Relationships just don't pop as easy as babies do! :) (Waits for the screaming mothers!), but they are just as possible with planning!
