Explanation On Some Legal Issue

I have a question if someone can read carefully.
There are many websites on internet which upload the nulled scripts on a free hostings like megaupload etc..and then they link to that hosted site, so that their visitors can get a download link.They dont upload the scripts to their hosting etc.
I want to ask , is it okay ? if someone just gives a link like , download nulled xxx script at
http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ etc.. (they dont even give clickable link) i think it is not illegal because they are hosting on 3rd party and its problem of 3rd party ? i want to know about it if some one can explain..
