Zenchi 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2004 #1: No, but you can create an account (like I did) named "Webmaster@domain.com"#2: Install it to the "/" directory. (I believe.)

Oni_BlueEyes 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2004 ok.thnx but about the phpnuke...there is no '/' directory...so do i make a new folder/dirin WWW named / and put all the phpNuke stuff in there?
beg4mercy 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2004 "/" means the root directory, it's the base DIR like the "www" and "public_html" directories. Upload PHP-Nuke to the root directory (a.k.a) "/" and going to your site will point visitors to the index.php of PHP-Nuke.
Zenchi 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2004 I only suggested "/" because I thought he was installing it via Cpanel. :)Chances are, you should put it in the public_html folder if you're setting things up. It's the best option to do, in my opinion due to organization.

Zenchi 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2004 You change the default nuke page to index.php (Most likely)
