Finland's President Election Tarja Halonen 45%

As you might know, in Finland we're choosing president to next six years. It was known in December 2005 that Tarja Halonen (democr. and our current president) will "win" but I didn't think she would get almost 50% of all votes. In Finland, if nobody gets more than 50% of all votes, there will be another round. And now it is extremely interesting to see, if there will be second round. It is no-brainer to say that Halonen will win anyway as Sauli Niinist? is getting less than 20%. But you never know...

Well, since there aren't a hoard of Finlanders flooding to this thread, perhaps you could give a little explaination of how politics works in Finland, so we the posters may better be able to come up with a thoughtful reply that will contribute to this thread.
