Well me having a stab at poetry! No titles as of yet!Poem 1--------Wantingillegal by all meanshauntingsometimes in my dreamsI lustedfor the physicalfor the untrustedThe killer of my friendsthe killer of my heartthe beginning of endsthe end of my artSo I sit and wonderwhat shall I do?would be a blunderwould be blueI'd lose all that I serveall that I haveall that I observeShould I embracethat which is hated most?if I didI'd forever be a ghostFrom my friend he would say"I can't believe you..get away!"So I will forget brittany faborforgive me my sunshineand my behavior Poem 2 (im quite proud of this)------------------------------------Mr GrimlyMr Grimly lives in the groundHe has no friends - none that he's foundHe has no future - he has no pastHe sits and waits for the growing grassHe lives alone in a pit of despairHe's getting old - he's losing his hairHe has no wife - he has no relationsThe hole he once dug gives him warmth and salvationHe knows of no laughter - he knows of no joyHe can't remember his parents from when he was a boyHe can?t speak English - he can?t speak GermanHe?s a little old man who likes to drink BourbanHe has a white fluffy beard which he trims every dayHe does it himself - no money to payHe sits and watches the birds in the skyHe?s getting old - he knows he?ll soon dieHis clothes are full of patches and holesWith socks, made of wool to keep out the coldAlone is he in his miserable lifeSitting alone with no kids and no wifeTheres just one thing he wants till he goesSo he packs up his things and wipes his cold noseThe rest of the world he plans to seeSo he leaves his hole, the birds and the treesOut of the woods and over a valleyHe?s getting tired - his feet are smellyHe reaches a field full of shrubs and rough sandHe has cuts and scrapes on his fingers and handWalking alone down a dusty dirt trackAll his posessions rest on his backExpecting to see many wonderous thingsHe walks down the track as he whistles and singsHe stops in wonder as he sees something prettyGigantic and grey - he sees a big cityHe enters the streets - he enters the pitThe walkways are covered in graffitti and spitHurt by this jungle of sounds and distressAll of the people and buildings and messAll of the garbage these people createThis great big town of pollution and hateIn shock and in grief - Is this really it?By a havocing car Mr Grimly is hitThey do nothing to help - no one could careHe just weeps and moans and lies thereLying in pain he is crying and bleedingA helping hand is all that he?s needingThey live in a city of taste and despairGrimly just had to stand up and leave thereIgnoring this mess as he wimpers in painThe ways of these people - it drives him insaneRunning back home as he staggers and slipsThe hot burning sun forming cracks on his lipsUp the dirt track with his great heavy loadHe continues to run up the dusty dirt roadBack to the forest - Back to his pitHe?s not going to make it - He starts to feel sickHe cannot believe all the things that he sawHis heart is not beating - he falls to the floorHe looks up at the trees and the birds in the skyHe thinks of his hole and is ready to dieHis past, now the future - he wanted to knowHis body lies still - the grass doesn?t grow Poem 3--------I used to dreamlike children dreamyou knowbig fat dreamswith a strawberry on topand creamDreams of hills of cheesesugar dripping of the leavesof the licorice treeschocolate riversandpink stripes on the beesGrew up one dayand realizedI only dreambecause i?m an idiotAn idiotthat dreamsof licorice trees Thanks!LoTech
