Cmd Prompt Tip had a hard time finding this

if you want to delete a file using the command prompt, and the file name has spaces in it, use the following syntax:del "file name.txt"just put the name in ""'s and you're good to go.not sure if nayone needs this, but i did and it was hard to findthis is for winxp

hi there :angry:

 

this syntax is since dos, but, u can use the wildcard such as

 

del file*.txt

 

or u write a batch with the command

 

echo. y|del "%1"

 

name this file del1.bat or so, so u cant make a mistake, or let the echo. y|command go :rolleyes:
