Blue Screen Of Death The myth around it

Recommended Posts

Well I have heard many myths about the blue screen of death and to start you off I want to tell you some stories and you have to tell me what sounds true.Story one: (I JUST MADE THESE UP)One day this little kid timmy was watching some movies that he downloaded off the internet. I mean they were awsome ones that his mommy and daddy would never let him watch. But he is watching them and then a ghost appears and scares him and he poops in his pants. He goes to his bedroom to change and when he comes back the screen is blue with a lot of errors. He does everything to fix it and nothing happens. Then about two hours later the computer starts working and all the movies and illegal stuff are off his computer....Boy did timmy learn a thing or two that day.Story two: (Made this up)One day this kid tommy was on the internet searching "slutty school girls". The most he came up with was fat chicks in school costumes so he turned off the computer. Later he was watching some movies and someone IM'ed him "http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/; (DO NOT GO TO THAT SITE OR SEARCH IT, IT IS VERY DISTURBING) and he clicked it and this nasty girl appeared on the screen and he pissed his pants. He went to the bathroom and came back and the blue screen of death was on his screen and he broke his pc and started crying.Morral of these stories...Don't do bad things on the computer. But which sounds more like the blue screen of death???

Nither, I find that with most 'Blue Screen of Death' Calls i get, its only after high stress loads on the computer, ie. someone is opening 10 programs at the one time, and the computer can't hack it.On a side note, Is this really apporiate for this Forum?, i mean i think it may be breaking ToC or something. Also just wondering, are you sure you made them up! B)

Nah...

Blue Screen of Death doesn't happens anyhow. It only happen when drivers are not properly installed, or hardware that doesn't support by Windows, or its a bug in Windows that Microsoft didn't realised.

I remember the old days of the blue screen of death years ago when my computer was running on windows ME. It ruined countless hours of work. I would see it every other day while working on the computer or sometimes when the computer was in idle. I no longer have that problem and I haven't encountered it ever since I installed Windows XP.
