Avalon 1 Report post Posted November 2, 2005 Here's a bit of an experiment for me, multi-colored grunge and a melting text effect. It's only a small sig, let me know what you think.
truefusion 3 Report post Posted November 2, 2005 I like the smallness of it. Everything is good, cept the thing that bothers me is the render. The green doesnt seem to go well with the colors of the render. But, i like how the grunge looks like smoke, perfect hiding for a ninja.
Cool_Freaker 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2005 Don't really go for it... IMO if you have multi-colour grunge, generally you either go for rusted, metallic feeling (ie reds, greys, browns), or the colours have to be fairly dark. Maybe try the green a bit darker?Size is novel though - nice to see something different.
psychiccyberfreak 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2005 it looks to me you used a plasma filter and used a tint to change the colors. or mabie a cloud filter.l It's pretty easy, so no offence, but it's ok...

The brushing is all grunge (8 layers), with 8 different color balance layers. Maybe using filters might have been easier?
truefusion 3 Report post Posted November 2, 2005 8 different color balance layers?! Hmm, looks like you used like 3-4 only.
Avalon 1 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 8 different color balance layers?! Hmm, looks like you used like 3-4 only. 200895[/snapback] If you look closely you can see different levels of green, brown, red and yellow. With selective masking each color only shows in certain areas. It was all about playing with color balance layers, masks and grunge brushes. It's only a little sig, but it's got a lot of work in it, obviously it doesn't show. More practice required it seems.
