Ethnic Ethnic Backgrounds And Labelling

Do you think that Filipinos are, in fact, asian? Or do you think they are Pacific Islander? Better yet, are there any races in the world today that are categorized in the world that shouldn't be categorized under?

 

Since Tribalmind believes that Filipinos are Pacific Islanders because of first, we being a separate island and then, we being on a different tectonic plate, what are the factors in determining this fact?

That was so off the topic a bit. I hate any kind of discrimination. And LABELLING sucks the most! It's like a "One size fits all" thing. Or some people will only base their first impressions on that. All they see is the race, not the person.

 

When it comes to labelling, especially ethnic, I can't help but feel pissed.
