Mithshark 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2005 I couldn't quite believe them when I saw them, but Sun (Who now sells AMD64 based servers) had these proposed as ads in several magazines:https://www.oracle.com/sun/index.htmlhttps://www.oracle.com/sun/index.htmlBut yeah. It looks like more and more Major OEM and Whitebox (Not to mention Tier 1 manufacturers, except Dell) are starting to sell AMD based products.

Arigato 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2005 Along with these ads sun microsystems also had a plane fly over the dell headquaters with a banner saying "sun's go an x64 server. Watch out dell!" Just goes to shows that the employees there were having a little fun.
Dragonfly 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2005 Those ads are impressive. They look quite attractive to viewers and visitors to their site alike. However, I'm surprised at the url of the advertisements page you've just shown us. It is placed in rejected folder. I mean the name of the folder where they keep this page is 'rejected'. This seems quite interesting..
