truefusion 3 Report post Posted October 3, 2005 I'm guessing what you're looking for is a video capture card. If so, those things don't cost much. Probably like over 30 dollars. You should be able to find some at your nearest computer store.
Saint_Michael 3 Report post Posted October 3, 2005 true forgot that you computer must be able setup a tv through the monitor along with the software as well, but the software is cheap as well you shouldn't have any problem getting that due to certain technologies we have today. atomicnacho 0 Report post Posted October 3, 2005 Another thing you can do is get a tv tuner/capture card. If you do this and you plan on doing a lot of recording of tv (ie you want to build yourself a tivo) be sure to get a card that has onboard encoding. Meaning it has the chip that does the encoding is on the card, so it doesn't stress your cpu while recording. Hauppauge makes some of the best tv tuner/capture cards. flyerdball 0 Report post Posted October 3, 2005 Hauppauge makes some of the best tv tuner/capture cards. 191472[/snapback] I would agree with this completely. One great site to look up on some information regarding this subject is HTPC. They have some of the best users who have created some amazing projects. A lot of their projects cost in the thousands, but they certainly have many solutions under $200. Also, eBay and a lot of other online shopping sites have some great deals on TV recording cards and software. As far as the software goes, there is a lot of open source software that is up to par with many mainstream applications.
dul 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2005 Buy TV card which receives data. That is 20 bugs. Also check your system performance. Otherwise ask members again.
