saga 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 Ive read thread about emulators. It mentioned there PS2 Emulator. So here is my question, when you use this emulator are you going to buy the DVD game or not?Is it like playing PS2 too or not? I mean is the quality good?I don't have a PS2 unit and don't have plan in buying one. But if PS2 emulator are good then I might buy PS2 games and play it in my computer
truefusion 3 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 Last i've checked, the ps2 emulator cannot play commercial games, yet. And for it to have as good of a quality as the actual console, you would have to have a powerful graphics card.
Gyad 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 I've played a PS1 emulator at my friend's house and it had good graphics. (FF9)I imagine it would be the same for PS2.But seriously, get a real PS2. I know how long it takes to download an ISO to play on an Emulator. It takes a REALLY long time. The only good part about using an emulator is that you can save the game anywhere you want, and to test games out before you buy them. Or play old games.PS2 ISOs are hard to dig up nowadays too.So My advice is...Get A Real PlayStation 2.andGet Real PlayStation 2 Games.
