What's The Hottest Place You Have Been To?

Recommended Posts

I remember Las Vegas when I was younger. We went out there to tour the place, we had a camper in which we bunkered down in at night. Well, it was so hot one night that we couldn't stand it, we ended up going to a classy hotel resort and spending the night :P. I remember when we were passing a bank, the temperature registered something over 100, it was nuts, based on the fact that at the time it was about 3 in the morning !!!

I was traveling to California earlier this year in the summer. We stopped for a pit stop in Needles, California. It was 115 degrees, it was soooo hot if I stayed outside for two minutes I would've been dehydrated.

When I was little I used to spend about a week a month at my aunts house in El Centro, California. It would get around 120 there- sometimes a little more. I remember I would actually play outside!I live near Austin, Texas now, and it gets just about as hot here, but it's more humid. Last week it was 115 degrees! It's Fall, it should be cooling down. I stay inside most of the time now. During last year's heat wave in August though, our air conditioner broke for a week and a half. That was horrible beyond words.

Haha, I live in Houston. One of the hottest places. 100 degrees average every day in summer. In winter, it's like 70-85 degrees.

The hottest place that I've ever been to would have to be San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The average high for their summer is 115 degrees. I was doing mission work with my church, and we were building buildings, and repairing old ones. My back was so sunburned by the end of the 2 weeks that I couldn't lift my carry-on baggage into the overhead compartment on the airplane for the flight home

The hottest place I've been to would have to be in my car. lol. On those hot summer days where the temperatures are like around a hundred degrees fahrenheit or less. The car would get really hot. But if your talking about a city or something than I would have to say Texas. I live there of course. lol. There was one day where we had like an ozone alert and the sun was really bright.

I'm pretty sure where I live (Australia) has had the hottest temperatures I've experienced (42-43?C) although the humidity in places like Malaysia & Thailand probably meant that if felt hotter there even though the temperature was only in the mid-30s.

Believe it or not, Folsom, California. I lived there for a while (No, NOT in the prison! but very close to it!) and one year, it hit OVER 120? F for two weeks straight, every day! Burned out my air conditioner, and had a very pregnant wife, all at the same time. Dang, I'll never forget that year.Oh, and I've been to Las Vegas which is very hot, and Death Valley, both which may get hotter then Folsom, but I didn't have to live there, so it couldn't have been that bad!
