General description of this Guide. A complete reference for new Linux users who wish to set up and administer their own Linux home computer, workstation and/or their home or small office network.  The answers are meant to be simple, with just sufficient detail, and always supported with a readily usable example.

covers all the basics, for those new to linux. hope it can be useful for Xisto members. :) you may choose to read it online, or download the guide in several formats available. non-native english readers may also get the translated versions of the guide: polish, hebrew, portuguese, french, russian, and chinese. :)

Hum.. Haven't read the guide you posted (no need for it) but I'd like to add -If you're a newbie to Linux, I highly reccomend SUSE. No doubt it's the best for new peoples. Very much worth the cash. Then I'd read the books that came with it first.Panda - Nice post.
