Printing In Java how to print ???

Recommended Posts

hi negativezero,

yeah, you can directly connect to a printer and print from a java program. For this purpose you need to use Java Printing API. The class that controls all is PrinterJob. Other classes like Book are to be used for rendering the page. There are a number of tutorials available on the web for the same. just google them.

Two useful links are :
1. http://www.javaworld.com/

2. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

Just go throught the tutorial and try it out. Would not be very difficult once you get an idea of how the classes are used and what functionality is provided by the API.

Cheers.
