Webz 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2004 i tried that once before and generally it works for everything that uses relative path naming. For the ones that use absolute paths and makes reference to the previous server paths, it may not work if the new server uses a different path.If that is the case, you would have to modify all such references wherever they occur. I remember I had to change some path names in the sql file before recreating some of my databases.So short answer is: yes it works but you got to know what to change.HTH Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
