Halo 2.5 Or Halo 3 whats next?

i wonder what will be next for the Halo lineup, i am a big fan and play it all the time ohline so i am just wanted to know what you guys think will come next in the story, 2.5 or 3 because before school let out lots of us were saying they are just going to call it 3, but others were saying 2.5 because they still needed to finish off the storyline to halo 2, (you know how he says he finishing his job at the end.) so i was just wandering what everyone else thought

Halo 2.5 is not going to happen. There was hype back in the day of Halo 1.5 which would add multiplayer online to the Halo game we all loved. Halo 2.5 will not happen because there will be no addition to the single player game of Halo 2. Halo 3 will be the next series of the game and hopefully it will be more focused on single player gameplay and not multiplaeyer (i didint like halo 2). And who is the say that Halo 3 will be the last game, they might continue the game. (Halflife never just stoped with Gordan freeman, it when to Blue Shift and all the other expansions, maybe Halo will do the same.)

i think i'll be halo 3 because on gamespot thats wat it says but there not always right but then again it could be halo 2.5
