Files Uploaded Using Dreamweaver Dont Show Up Dreamweaver file uploads

when i try to open my website it just says that the site is hosted by Xisto and its functioning properly. i dont see the files that i uploaded using dreamweaver!

What filetype you are using with the dreammeaver? is it php, htm, asp or html? Is your main page named index.html or index.htm? If not, the webserver will defaultly make those 2 the main page. So you can either delete the index.html or index.htm which come with the hosting and replace it with yours. Make sure that you are using index.html, index.htm or index.php as your main page. If the webserver couldnt find index.html then it will go to htm then php. You can try to access your file by xxx.trap17.com/yourfile.html to see if they are working or not. If yes, then i think replacing the index.html file will solve your problem.Hope this helps!

What directory did you upload your files to?

 

You need to make sure that when you upload files that they go into your public_html folder, or the files you upload won't show up.

 

If you did upload your files into public_html, maybe you should clear your cache and try again.
