Google Map Catches Ufo? whatever it is, it is on google map :P

Recommended Posts

how would you like to see an unidentified flying object via google maps? i know it seems ridiculous, but somewhere in florida, something was evidently caught via earth satellite imaging. here it is, take a long thoughtful look:
https://www.google.com/maps/preview?q=33409&t=k&hl=en&source=newuser-ws

you can zoom your way up to see a much bigger image. is it possible google maps could have hoaxed this photo? but i doubt it could be a hoax. :( what do you think? a secret military vehicle? a silver air balloon? or an alien spaceship come to visit us earthlings once again? :(

Wow this is something amazing. Doesn't look like a government aircraft to me, but I could be wrong. I really doubt it is a UFO, because a photo like this would've been "breaking news" all over the news channels already. But again, I could be wrong!

My money's on alien spaceship, cos to be honest I cant even imagine google faking that picture on the off chance that someone may just deside to look at that spacific part of florida, I doubt even google are that strange, but agin if i'm honest with you it does look a slight bit like a blur, ok granted a round, silver, shiney blur, in perfect alien form.

Hey, that's actually quite interesting, if you look at the lake below where the so called 'UFO' is, there seems to be a lot of disturbance in the water, could just wind or something...I personally don't think it's a alien spacecraft, most of these images are hoaxes.Unless Google are extremely retarded, I don't think they would do this on the off chance that someone searches for this exact area...

maybe its an airballoon lol. but the chances of that aren't likely. maybe like debree from space went infront of it and caused that tiny hole maybe a piece of metal space junk. iono. i'm just giving ideas. it could be real. where did you find this article or story at?

from an rss/xml feed (used by blogs). just randomly reading stuff and the word "google" and "UFO" on the same line just piqued my curiosity. never thought it could be possible, to actually see a legit shot of a UFO via googlemaps, so i checked. and lo, it is actually there. :( anyway, it can be anything, but since it can not be identified with exact certainty, then it is safe to say that it is really a UFO ("unidentified" is the operating keyword. :()

Wow, what an amazing find! This is definately interesting. If you look at the picture, you will notice that the object isn't as focused as all of the other things surrounding it, so the "ufo" must have been really high in the air or possibly right infront of the satelite. And I agree, I don't think that Google would bother putting in a fake photo in their maps. If you look at the shadows in the picture, you will see that the "ufo" matches the shadow scheme on the ground, so maybe the object was in the atmosphere after all. Hmm, I'm no expert, but this definately looks interesting!AmeriBass

That's a very interesting picture you found there  I honestly can't say what I think it is, because I'm not at all sure. Some of the ideas that I've heard here have made sense, and I hadn't even thought of them before I read them.It does seem sort of far fetched that google would hoax something like this. I mean, even if they did, why wouldn't they let anyone know. You'd think they'd want the press to know about it, and I'm sure if they did, we'd have heard something by now (or at least one of us here) but since none of us has... it seems hard to believe that they'd bother.I could see it as a joke if someone in the google company did this sort of thing over Roswell, or Area 51, but a place like florida? I mean, why?But it also makes me wonder... didn't someone have to look at these images before putting them onto the web? I've noticed that some areas in there satellite maps are all spliced together, so I'm assuming that someone had to have some part in that.I'm not sure, what ever... it's still pretty cool. Makes me wonder if they do have any satellite pictures of Area 51 though :(

I saw it... It's weird... Google won't lie in the public. Because I think, that will make their repuration lower than before.

I cant see the image, the page just doesnt load. For some reason they must have taken it down. Im not gonna jump to any conclusions since I havent seen it but I would post my opinion if anybody could put the image somewhere where I can see it. Im actually dying to see it

When I went to the page the first time (and actually every time, because I just checked it now too) the picture won't load up for me either. But when I refresh the page, it shows up fine. I don't know if this is the same problem that you are having or not, but it's worth a try, right?

Google won't lie... They won't do such lame jobs to add stupid figures in their sources...

What I think those figures were, are really UFOs!

I did a search with googles and they claimed to notice those figures as well..

They, like us, are unable to explain these things..

Google released that there were 8 of such identical objects flying over Florida.. all caught on the maps..

Here are they...

2) https://www.google.com/maps/preview?t=k&source=newuser-ws

3) https://www.google.com/maps/preview?t=k&source=newuser-ws

4) https://www.google.com/maps/preview?t=k&source=newuser-ws

5) https://www.google.com/maps/preview?t=k&source=newuser-ws

6) https://www.google.com/maps/preview?t=k&source=newuser-ws

7) https://www.google.com/maps/preview?t=k&source=newuser-ws

8) https://www.google.com/maps/preview?t=k&source=newuser-ws

Tensuns says:

I have no idea what this is. I can’t find anything similar on any google map referenced sites. It doesn’t show up on terraserver and I live nearby so I know there are no towers in that area. It has the same shadow as ground objects and when you zoom out it appears to be too small to be something really close to the satellite.

Google maps caught the same unidentified craft over L.A. too...

2) https://www.google.com/maps/preview?t=k&hl=en&source=newuser-ws

3) https://www.google.com/maps/preview?t=k&hl=en&source=newuser-ws

4) https://www.google.com/maps/preview?t=k&hl=en&source=newuser-ws

5) https://www.google.com/maps/preview?t=k&hl=en&source=newuser-ws

6) https://www.google.com/maps/preview?t=k&hl=en&source=newuser-ws

7) https://www.google.com/maps/preview?t=k&hl=en&source=newuser-ws

8) https://www.google.com/maps/preview?t=k&hl=en&source=newuser-ws

9) https://www.google.com/maps/preview?t=k&hl=en&source=newuser-ws

10) https://www.google.com/maps/preview?t=k&hl=en&source=newuser-ws

11) https://www.google.com/maps/preview?t=k&hl=en&source=newuser-ws

12) https://www.google.com/maps/preview?t=k&hl=en&source=newuser-ws

It seems to be something quite near the satellite and its too big compared to the ground objects...

It can't be camera lens problem..

Those are some more very strange pictures. Makes me wonder just how many other cities have those things above them. And was it just a one time occurance, or will they been seen in other satellite images of the same area when google updates their images (if they do indeed update them!)The one over Florida, that was only half of a disc is odd. I wonder what would cause only half of it to show up, or if that one actually is a different shape than the rest, then why?
