Ad-Aware gets rid of Adware and SpyBot S&D gets rid of Spyware. Also get McAfee VirusScan 8.0i. It works good but it also can detect Adware and Spyware but not every good as Ad-Adware and SpyBot S&D can do. These tools should do good for you. Ad-Aware is free and so is SpyBot S&D. wariorpk 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2005 If you are willing to pay some money use MacAfee for anti-virus and download Zone Alarm Pro for free (there is a paid version and a free version I assume the free one is just as good).

shigajet 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2005 I think I'll give SpyBot a try. I downloaded AVG a long time ago, and to this day I still wish that I hadn't. Anyway, thanks for the links/tips. I hope I can get the PC up to speed. Otherwise, I may have to back up my files and re-install everything.
