Best Paying Job what is the best paying job out apart from sports

Recommended Posts

I would definately say.. Film director. Movie maker. The love and creativity of writting scripts, bringing them to life and whether it be a hollywood blockbuster or a kick indie film.. what is important is that your heart and soul is in it. For me, that would be the best paying job. Creative jobs are a bit sketcky -_- .. as in.. definatly not for the people who dont like risk and all. It would also be cool to be a book writter. (I am writting a book at the moment.. it is called "Fragments" maybe i will put it on my Xisto site?) tee hee. I love making movies so much... OO and another good job would be... Manga composer. That would be soo soo cool, i praise the composer of sailor moon. :D ..

Being a famous entertainer - like a movie star or a prime-time TV host. But being a director or a screenplay writer would be cool as it's a chance to go through the pains to create something and call it yours.

Answering to this question I don't count job related to sport or movie. So without this kind of jobs the best paid are executives, and more powerful they are and more they earn. A low level and young (<30 years) executive in US can earn at leat 70000 US$/year. Obviusly if he has a prestigious MBA (Master in Business Administration), for example Harvard or Wharton) he/she can earn at leats 90000US$/year. Low salaries? Obviusly the salary will increase, and a middle age executive can earn at least 200000US$/year without bonuses. Too low? The top executive, the CEO (Chief of the Executive Office), can earn in a little firm at least 600000US$/year without bonuses and the most paid CEO (the CEO of Johnson&Johnson) earn something like 120 millionUS$/year (see Forbes.com for more details about most important CEOs). Anyway cardiologists and anesthetists (I don't know if I have wrote it well) are well paid too, an average of 200-300 thousands bucks/year or 400-700 thousands bucks/year for people that receive a percentage of earning of the hospital/clinic where they work. If you are interested about how much differents jobs earn I suggest you to visit Salary.com.

maybe IT related? programming?

Once upon a time perhaps, not so anymore. You see once computers were these nearly mystical things that only a few "specialists" understood, and a person could make a mint with a little computer knowledge. Now adays though to make serious money in IT you need to either head for the business end of things and aim for a CIO type postion, or high end specialized programming. Jobs in the IT industry are now difficult to find as the market is saturated with MCSE's and other "certified" professionals. Hard core programmers still make good money, but the market is even pretty streched for programmers.

I think the highest paying jobs are in business, get an MBA along with a non business diploma and your pretty much set. Like I said about the IT industry, if you had a computer engineering or computer science BA and a MBA you can land a job quite easily in upper management and be in the higher tax brackets in no time.

The best paying job is proerly prgramming because Microsoft pay there workers BIG and i meen big amounts of money to develop operating systems like Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Server 2003,Microsoft Longhorn and Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional. Look how much Bill Gates has got and he started at the bottem and now he is the richest man IN THE WORLD. What you need to do is practice hard at school and go to Univercity and graduate.

lol, well everyone here has some good examples.....To almost all if not all, you could be very successful or you could go broke. If you play sports and your not really that great, you could go broke and not really be that successful, filmmakers/actors ect...I can think of several actors off the top of my head that had it going for them once upon a time, but if things dont go your way you will drop like a rock. The programming side, Yes Microsoft is a multi billion dollar company, but how many other companies are out there that dont make that much.....I dont think getting the job is all you need, gotta beable to perform....And got to be successful at what you do, if things go your way you will have to pay lots of taxes :-p which is a good thing (means u make lots of money)

Once again, once upon a time, sure. There was a time when Microsoft employees were Millionairs before they hit 30 thanks to shares given to them in leu of paying them big bucks. However now adays people are rightfully more mindful of the fact that shares mean diddly squat in the long run sometimes, and the Microsoft Millionairs quickly found that their paper millions shrank as the market returned to normal. Bill gates may be among the Richest men in the world, but his programmers aren't. A top notch programmer could get top dollar, while a mediocre one would make barely minimum wage. If you doubt it check out how many part time programmer contracts there are available, and how many people are willing to do the jobs for peanuts.

I still say business is your best bet, because with a good degree in business from a reputable school even a mediocre business man could make more than the average programmer, and a great business man could make more than the best sports figure.

THE best-paying gig in the world: being Bill Gates :PAfter that, I would say that something in entertainment would be the most lucrative depending on talent and popularity. J.K. Rowling is set to live very, very nicely for several lifetimes.

i think the best job is the one,u create for yourself,no matter where you work ,you will always be underpaid then your capability ,bcoz no one will pay u more than what you generate in revenue.so the best job is to find a passion and be an individual enterpreneur in that particular field and enjoy the good returns but also stay capable of facing some riska in between

The best paying job that I heard of, though I don't know the official name for it, is one where a person is paid $200 an hour for fixing copying machines. I think it takes 2 years to study, and it isn't the most entertaining occupation out there. I also have no idea whether there are many jobs in that "field" or if its easy to study.

Best paying job? Other than being sports star, you can become an entertainment star (singing or acting), be your own boss, be a top management exceutive, maybe insurance or property agent? Basically to get paid most, it is best to have your own business because whatever profit you make, you will pocket first before you give to your employees :) .
