CodeTeam 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2004 Are we alowed to run an php-IRC-bot on Xisto.com ?The bot uses socets to connect to the IRC-server and have no need for a Cron-job to run it. Zenchi 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2004 Personally, I wouldn't want to see it open generally, as it puts the server somewhat at risk.But I would love to see how this works, as I once attempted sockets in mIRC script, and wasn't aware you could do something like that in php.All-in-all, I love the idea, but don't know about it. Could be other that are interested in this too... so that we all have to PM admins don't sounds wise to me. Think I will try to wait some more days...
