winflowers 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2004 It's not only a P2P phone, you can also use its SkypeOut function to make calls to friends who only have a landline or mobile phone anywhere in the world at local rates.

truvu17 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2004 Since were talking about telephony related stuff, I have been looking for a great VMB and IVR to use (voice message broadcast and interactive voice recognition, respectively) with my voice modem. For the VMB, I need preditive dialing, cuz I want to dial and leave message only to voicemail and play a "oh i got the wrong number" when someone picks up. If anybody know of a good software to use and I am able to download, please let me know, thanks.

alperuzi 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2004 skype is awesome, I used it for the past two years to call back home and works perfectly. Good quality sound, easy to set up (parents don't always know how to do things!) and best of all FREE!The only thing it lacks is a webcam feature, for that I need to use MSN, but then again, nothing is ever perfect
