grrlfromoz 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2004 I had to do a system restore last week and am still working out the bugs. The newest is I keep getting an installation msg from Veritas saying it could not find SGuard.msi. The only way I could get it to shut down was to get into the task manager and shut down sgtray. Can anybody please tell me what's going on here??
ket 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2004 It may be a CD/DVD burning program which is trying to get updates automatically. Possibly one of:- RecordNow, RecordNow DX, & RecordNow Max - MyCD & MyCD Pro - PrimoCD & PrimoCD Plus, PrimoCD Pro8, PrimoCD Pro16, PrimoCD Pro64 & PrimoDVD - Click'N Burn Plus & Click'N Burn Pro - SonicBurn, CD Extreme, Spressa Play & Record If you have one of these applications, try disabling automatic updates. Also, look in msconfig ("Start > Run", type msconfig and click OK), move to the "Startup" tab and untick anything that obviously relates to Veritas Update Manager.sourcePS - google is your friend...
