Need Help Connecting To Trap17 Servers tired... of reconnecting

Im new to Xisto.com and im currently using ftp programs to connect to hosting companies but for some reason i cant connect to Xisto servers even though i though i know that the servers are NS1.TRAP17.COM and NS2.TRAP17.COM. Can anybody give me advice upon solutions upon how to connect to these servers or suggest any other ftp program other than cuteftp?

i dont really get you.. are u trying to connect like this.. yourname.trap17.com or yourname.uni.cc .. all i can really say is that u need for the NS1 & NS2 to propegate or what ever it is.. before u can use FTP...

for FTP server, use the IP adress thad was PMed to you

If you still dont understand check the faq of your ftp client it should explain to you how to use the username / pw / and address that were given to you .

what ftp client r u using??do u have the correct ports open and such?have u tried w/other ftp servers?? if u havent already, u should!
