Adding to the list of existing LONGEST Words in English category is a new one, the technical name of the largest protein "Titin". You can attempt to pronounce the beauty yourself, you can TRY to watch the video of a brave soul pronouncing the word (note: the video is 3 hours long and frankly, it sounds like the boy is chanting out of the bible But I have always wondered whether technical scientific names should be considered as "words in english" since most of these names have a basis in the Latin language or they are chemicals stringed together to form one word. The youtube comments seem to voice the same opinion that a sequence should not be considered as a word. What do you say? You can check out other words considered the longest which I have trouble agreeing with AND disagreeing with, the third you can see is a word whose origins is in the Greek language https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longest_word_in_English [media]http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/]

Source This act of google is indeed fantastic. Google is always trying to do good things in some or the other way. It is really very important that all the ancient languages should be preserved as our history depends on these ancient languages. Preserving these languages is like preserving our culture. There are some people who think that the whole world should speak only one common language (mainly english) because this will ease the gap of communication. Using only one language may help reducing boundaries and exchanging their ideas in a better way. What do you think? Is it a good initiative or is this useless?
