A few of the binary clocks I saw online looked nice. However, I am doubtful that most would know what it is on first look. Making it hard to represent "since you're up" since it's not very easily memorable. And yes, I'm still looking for a logo. -

Well, I've been continuing to think about what would symbolize "SinceUrUp" I tried an owl. As with the phrase, "night owl". It also incorporates intelligence with the "wise owl". My sad attempt was way too cluttered. I tried to make the text a branch with the owl sitting on it. Definitely not vector either. -

That's a nice subtle touch. I wish it were more subtle. It draws your attention very much as it is large. Thanks for your input. -

Hmm, I like the concept of a clock and that it's like 2:00 or so as it relates to being unable to sleep. It seems to cover the first U in Ur. What significance does the ^ on the Up have? I'm just curious. Perhaps to help separate each word? The little digital square looking things at the bottom are kind of cool. I found a competitor's banner to be attractive they had things of intelligence/mystery in the banner. I.E. Einstein, Rubik's Cube, hieroglyphics, pi, geometric shapes. I love that you did it in svg format as I can increase it's size for a t-shirt with no problem without distortion. Thanks for your attempt. -
I only really agree with the last part. The (Man-made)Global Warming being rubbish. I think the legal driving age should be 18. Unless you have joined the military. Since that is supposed to be the age that you become a 'legal adult'. They say that bikers have to abide by the rules of the road, so a moped would be no different. So, I don't think they should be allowed on roadways until the age mentioned above. Who's to say they don't do something stupid to cause an accident amongst 'actual' drivers. I have no idea what HGV is .

This is hard to say. As I was able to drive at 16 but am now over 21. I think if a kid is old enough to serve his country and die, he should be old enough to drink/drive/vote. Preferably not mixing the drinking with either of those two. HOWEVER, there are the vast majority of kids under the age of 21 that I feel lack the maturity to safely/properly navigate a motor vehicle. The question that you have to ask yourself is do you punish all for the few that are overly reckless? I also think that if you are going to declare someone a legal adult (18) then they should be given all the privileges of a legal adult. However, this has been a good way to maintain/limit alcohol consumption by high school students. It is already very prevalent however, how much worse would it be if an 18 year old could buy alcohol. Raising the legal driving age could possibly retard the progression of an individual's independence. Individuals will have to rely on their parents longer. Can't get a steady job with reliable transportation if you cannot own your own vehicle and transport yourself to your job, which enables you to save and eventually move out. How many people do you know that are in there 20's living at home. How old do you think people will be if you push the driving age up too high? It could also be argued that public transportation provides an alternative to that... So, both of those debates have me very mixed on the subjects. I think more good than bad will come of raising the legal driving age however.

Understandable, the game is a riddle/puzzle game. In the game users navigate to the next level using clues found within each page. It's online based. It's free. Not sure what else to say about it. My current website header is just an abstract render. Using the colors blue/white/black. Things I've attempted to create for it already include.. a guy with dry cracked eyes with red veins showing that he is sleep deprived. An abstract shape The current banner I used is attached. I don't want this to replace it. I want to use this as I said to put on a t-shirt to reward the first person to beat the game. Also, I would like to put it on or use it as a header for the forums that are attached to the website. Thank you for your time. -
I think the whole concept is pointless. I wanted to just point out that if you do stuff in php then they aren't able to view your code in source.

Size: 400x400 Theme: Vector Logo? Possibly Abstract? Just be creative and make it simplistic yet attractive Render: If you need to? Colors: Blue/White/Black ? Text: SinceUrUp.com Puzzle Game is the title (but whatever you think looks best) Other Effects: Be creative it's up to you. I would like to put this on a t-shirt for the first person to get to the last level of my game. Thanks for your time.

I already created a forum, making a topic for each level seems kind of like a good idea. I was just worried that people would just go to the spoilers and then the levels would be cheapened. One of the people that made it to level 7 almost gave away the answer to get to level 7 while looking for help on it so I am worried about that. I have over 30 levels created so far. I am planning on offering a free t-shirt to the person that gets to the last level. I put a code on there to have them e-mail to me if they get there so I will know they got there. I attempted to do the photoshop layout thing. I couldn't get the images to line up properly and I wanted the site to load fast and be able to be played on the cell phone. I was thinking about adding a view source link on the bottom of the page so that the phone users could access it easier. The youtube video idea seems like a good one. Thank you for your suggestion.

Running With Scissors, It will always be a work in progress as I intend to continue to build on it and add more levels. Thanks for the welcoming. -----------------------------------------Sadly enough, I just purchased another domain lol. At least, I put one up for auction. So the count should stay at 7 after the other one sells.

I would love to see the peer reviewed case study that backs up your accusations. Marijuana is no worse than Alcohol. If you poll most cops (I've only polled a few), they state they would much rather deal with a person that is "high" than drunk. Drunk people have a tendency of being belligerent and violent, where-as most people that are "high" are mellow and calm. You have alcoholics that do nothing but sit on their but and leech of the government, reproduce, get drunk, pass out, and repeat. That doesn't mean that there are MANY that drink alcohol responsibly and function perfectly fine in society. The same can be said about marijuana users. We will free up so many of our prisons, we will diminish a lot of marijuana related crimes, we will not spend so much on enforcing drug related laws. Not to mention we will be able to tax it, so the high amount of people that already smoke it illegally will be giving money to us. People won't have to worry about stuff being laced that they purchase, the government will regulate and the stuff will be purer (perhaps?). Even when/if it is legalized I personally won't smoke it as I have no desire to do so. I say we eliminate some of our debt with the loads of money that would be going to the criminals instead.

Thank you both for your insights. The background color is a bit bright thank you Kleong. StvenWesley, definitely simple. The background coding is where all the effort went in. I figure simplistic in nature is good as it won't take away from the rest of the website content. Since that layout is the same throughout the game. The top 10 is a bit bland. I am not sure what you are suggesting I do instead. As for the color, it is definitely in the logo. I did the eyedropper thingy in photoshop. There's so many shades of blue in the banner it would almost be impossible to have a blue background that doesn't match. Thanks again for the suggestions

I could never narrow down to a favorite list of movies. However, my favorite movie genre is psychological thrillers. I enjoy watching any and all movies though.

I have never touched the stuff in my life. That being said, it's been legal longer in the US than it has been illegal. If I read correctly, the reason it was made illegal in the first place was a timber company lobbyist that didn't want to lose business to the non recreational uses of hemp. I definitely agree with people that say it should be legalized and taxed just like cigarettes and alcohol (Sin tax if you will). The only set back that I have heard when debating this topic with individuals that I am unable to counter is. There is currently no technology available that can discern whether or not a person has smoked a few minutes ago or a few days ago. This makes it difficult to monitor and make laws governing driving while under the influence of marijuana. Someone will just state that they aren't high, and that they just smoked a few days ago and there are still traces in their system.
