Combining A Trap17.com And Trap17.net Account is it permitted?
jlhaslip replied to Avalon's topic in Web Hosting Support
Avalon,Is it possible to store your images in the Gallery and thereby save some of your account space? Or does the Gallery usage get charged against your account? I don't know the answer to that. Might want to check that out as an alternative.Which Image Host are you using? I find Photobucket to be quite dependable. I've never tried any other. -
Free Domain Competition! For hosted members only.
jlhaslip replied to rejected's topic in Web Hosting Support
Too Cool.!.!.! The kids will love this. In most of the past "naming" events, like the selection of the "club" name and Logo, the "Rams", the kids had a competition, so it may take a week or so to come up with the actual domain name, but I will take steps to get the name to you as quickly as is possible. Thank you. Oh, and by the way, a local ISP has quoted a price of $50.00 CDN for the registration cost of a domain, so that's what the Association will be saving by winning this competition. That money will be put to good use providing other items the Association needs. Thanks again. Notice from rejected: Merged the posts. -
Engine Stand Help Dimensions between holes on Engine Stand
jlhaslip replied to Alex_W's topic in General Discussion
Most Engine Stands that I have seen or used have slots for where the bolts are. There are usually two slots on an angle at the top and the bottom "slots" are also adjustable by using a second set of bolts and slots in a second plate. The second slots are horizontally adjustable so that they space correctly for the particular block you are mounting. If nobody else comes along with the actual details, I would suggest going to an Automotive Tool place and pretend to be interested in buying an engine stand and look at a couple to get the concept, then go home and build it similar to the one you have inspected. -
xJedix,The first link resolves to the same IP addy and fails with a message like you got.the second link fails to connect at all.I'd take rejected's advise up there. I will PM you a link for a chat service.

Do you mean American? And my favourite American "Football" player is Warren Moon from his days as a CFL Quarterback with the Edmonton Eskimos in the Canadian Football League. He went on to play in the NFL, but he sure set the field on fire while he played up here. Won a bunch of Grey Cups with the Eskies and had a fabulous career.

1) phpbb is available, no downloading required from the script section of the cpanel once you are hosted.2) as long as they do not violate the Terms Of Service or Acceptable Use Policy. 3) cpanel 10 is the current version There is a cpanel demo available in the Xisto Readme file which will show you all that is available for your use once you are hosted. It might involve some reading, but the Readme file and the Demo are highly reccomended for new users to check out. At least have a quick peek to familiarize yourself with what is in there for future reference. It only takes a minute and might answer some questions. Check your credits by scrolling down at the index page. That is the first page you see when you sign on to the forum. Also, your credits can be checked in the Hosting Application sub-form at the bottom of the Forum Index, also on the first page, but down at the bottom. Good to have you here, please abide by the rules. Doing so makes the forum experience enjoyable for all of the users.

Well that is certainly more of an introduction than we normally see on the forum. It was an interesting read. It appears that you have had an exciting journey so far, and thanks for dropping by at the Trap. Please do share more of your experiences with us. I liked the writing style and the injection of humour in the posting. So, born in Britain, lived in Korea, and several spots in the USA. It sounds to me like your folks might be in the Armed Forces? Probably Air Force? Good opportunity to travel around. Glad to have you here. If there are any questions you need answered, check the prior posts by using the search feature, or read the FAQ's in the Xisto Readme. If you still don't get the answer, post a topic or PM a Mod. We are here to help you.

xJedix, If you look here, the IP number differs fromwhat you got on your error message.I don't know if that might be the source of the problem you are having or not, but it might be that you will need to empty the cache or delete the Xisto cookies and try again? Just something that I noticed.

Help Me Fix A Problem On A Laptop Runnig W98
jlhaslip replied to andrescasta's topic in Hardware Workshop
I had a similar problem with missing drivers on a w98se machine and it seems that there is a "master driver file" on the w98 system that is unique to every machine. Sometimes the file can be rebuilt as per the instructions above, sometimes not. This master file is never the same on any machine, so you can't simply copy it from another machine, in fact the file will be different on each install of the operating system on each machine. Just another MS way of doing things. The problem got resolved at a techie forum at a site that was run by an extremely knowledgable collection of individuals. Their site specializes in these sort of things. You might want to check with them if the above suggestion fails to work, or if nobody comes along with a better idea. You may have to register there to be able to post your question. -

$upa Pimps Sigs Thread makes life easier
jlhaslip replied to ashmaster's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
It will be good to watch you progress through posting your sigs here in your own topic. Each new signature you post here will show that you are getting more knowledgeable. Newbies will soon be pounding on your door for tricks and techniques. Master the basics first. The frilly trick stuff can fall into place after that. Without a good understanding of the basics, you may have trouble with the advanced techniques. -

There are some caveats on the tranfer of credits. 1). The biggest one is that both sender and receiver must be HOSTED. 2). The sender must have at least 30 credits both before and AFTER the transfer. If these conditions fail to be true, the transfer will not go through.
