i use firefox too. but haven't had any problems. amazing browser.

CMU university has symantec license. so all my updates are free. heh.

heh. an old schooler here. i use telnet program called Pine to access my e-mails from my unversity. i find it faster to type than click.

i don't know if anyone use this program, but it's called "windows commander" i've been using this program for the past 7-8 years. it's old and ugly, but very efficient. i got too used to it. in it, it has a very quick and hot-keyable ftp client built in. very handy when you access ftp as much as i do.

going to suprnova.org and typing templates helps a lot too

the flash animation seems like it can be optimized a bit. also, just use tables so that the flash animation is centered. instead of clicking 'launch' it might be better to let it just load straight into the main movie.

for any kind of programming, i find notepad.exe to be the fastest and the simplest. there's a size limit to how big of a file you can open though. which can be annoying.
