On my site I have a flash menu thing. But when I publish my site or preview it with internet explorer it blocks the flash content and shows the little yellow bar at the top asking if I want to enable it. However I see sites with flash just like mine on the net and I dont get that bar when I visit them. How do I make it so it wont pop up on my site. Is there like a certification sort of thing that I need to have?

Wow and I thought I was the only one. Thanks for the ideas guys. Was thinking of some of them already but just wanted to make sure I wasnt passing up a stupid solution. Do cordless Headphones have any down side? Like lag time or something if u use them for something sensitive like counter strike and such.?

This might be a stupid question but its a big old problem 4 me. Everytime I buy a headphone I get up and walk away with it still on, snapping the cord. Not sure if theres anything I can do but let me know if youv got any suggestions on how to fix/ prevent it. It sucks buying new ones once a month. Thanks

I have a flash drop down menu but I want to put stuff behind the menu. So I need to like overlap the elements I think. Does anyone know how to do this besides using layers because I cant have it on absolute positioning?

I am building my site with front page and I have it set up so that it stays centered and adjusts depending on the resolution you look at it (css or something like that?) and I need to overlap some flash with other elements, but when I try using layers the site gets all out of place because my page moves but my layers stay exactly in the same spot throughout the different resolutions. Does anyone know how to make the layers move with the site or if theres an easier way to get things overlapped? Thanks

Is it better to get a LCD or a CRT becuase the LCD looks better, but the refresh rates are much worse than what you can get with a CRT. How much of a difference does the refresh rates on moniters make and whats the best value LCD moniter.kevin

Internet Explorer.... With Tabs!
kevinparsons replied to andrescasta's topic in Science and Technology
Down to the details Fire fox is better than internet explorer. But internet explorer really isnt that bad. It works just fine. Sure fire fox is better but most of the people dont even care and the rest of us are too lazy do set anything else up. Tabed browsing isnt even all that great. I mean it techniclly is tabbed its just on the bottom with everything else. Its not as great but most people dont even care. As for the security issues. Those are pretty bad but most people dont even have to worry about them. Unless you go to some heavily added with trash site and click yes to all the warnings then you wont have many problems and the ones that you do have can easily be fixed with a few free programs. Fire fox is nice though. -
I have both front page and macromedia dream weaver. Personally I think dream weaver is really confusing. Im sure I could learn it if I took the time but I have been using microsoft products for all my life. So there for I think it is a lot easier to learn frontpage becuase the layout is the same as word and all the basic microsoft programs. The same goes for macromedia and dreamweaver so it really depends on what you wanna use. There is problems with front page like the bad html coding. Yet for most people its really not a big deal and I think there is some reformating option now. The other big con about Frontpage was layers. But in the 2003 edition there is layers on Front page. In the end dreamweaver is probably better than frontpage. But its really not that big of a difference. I would just go with the one you know how to use. As for Adobe Golive I have never used it. Let me know if its any good.

New Gaming Site Up you may want to check it out
kevinparsons replied to gregh1390's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Great site I like the flash -
I really doubt that you can get anything for free. Much less music that artist spend days making and billions of dollars suing over. Nothing is free. If you really want free music then just download like half the world does. No reason to pretend to get it legaliy or you can go to some russian mp3 site I heard about and you can dl albums by the dollar. Last thing I heard said that it was even legal.
